Andy Fakis will lead the Winter Qi Gong class.

The winter season calls for the wisdom of water. For balance, the Water Element is able to move smoothly through the season with free-flowing strength. We will work on cultivating our inner vitality and activating the reserve energy through our practice.
* Various Water element movements, such as “deer” qigong, will be introduced to enable us to relax and move like water, releasing tightness and tension.
* We will continue to build our knowledge of The Five Element Theory. Discuss the Water Element Meridians/ Organs/ Sensory Organs/ Traits, their roles in the Five Elements, and how to know if these elements are balanced and, if not, how to rebalance their inter-relationship.
* We will work on Qi cultivation with different meditations focused on Concentration, Mindfulness, Contemplation, and Visualization. A couple of examples: a. Zhuangzi – sitting and forgetting/ Neiguan – inner observation, inner vision, inner smile. b. Zhan Zhuang – standing like a tree, including Daoist Water Meditation.
