The Spring Qigong classes are excellent for waking the body and mind from their Winter slumber.

We work specifically with the Wood Element (Liver Qi), which tends to stagnate – especially around this time of the year – resulting in muscle tightness, pent-up emotions, and, thus, irritability.

These exercises strengthen the Yang qi by opening the body and promoting natural expansion – just like flowers growing in Spring. They are also beneficial for soothing the nervous system. Healthy movement and expression help to maintain a calm mind.

These classes consist of self-massage, acupressure, meditation, and 4 sets of exercises, focusing on the standing version.
