One week of Taiji and Qigong

This weeklong workshop is designed for those with low stamina, physical weakness, and depleted energy levels. Suppose medical practitioners have cleared the symptoms for underlying medical disorders, but other factors, such as stressful lifestyle and working conditions, persist. In that case, Taiji and qigong are excellent healing practices to overcome these sluggish body and mind conditions.

For 5 days, Master Zhou will combine the practice of Yang Qigong and Taiji 28, working in tandem to mitigate the imbalance in your organs such as the lung, spleen, stomach, and kidney. The sessions will flush out the stagnant qi and replace it with the nourishing qi, building solid root energy from the elixir field (dantian) – and then redistributing new qi to where it is needed in your body.

We invite you to spend a weeklong in the woods in NH to recharge and rejuvenate. Finding seclusion in a quiet place and practicing the healing arts of Taiji and Qigong as a getaway from the routine of a busy, pressured life and tapping into the transcendental source of qi in nature.

What will you learn?
During this course, he will discuss the principles governing Taiji and Qigong practices and how Daoism influenced the foundational practice from which Taiji and Qigong emerged. Learn proper breathing techniques and different meditation styles, including Zhan Zhuang (standing like a post), the foundational meditation of Neijia Quan. The course will also discuss the Five Elements, Five Organs, and the associative confluences of Traditional Chinese Medicine into practice. The morning starts with Summer qigong and then will proceed with the meditational movements of Taiji 28.

7 – 8   Qigong, Warmup or meditation
8 – 9:30  Breakfast
9:30 -11:30 – Taiji Practice
11:30 – 2 Lunch and self-practice
2 – 4 – Taiji and Qigong Practice
4 – 5 – Self-practice
6 – Dinner

Personal training –  5 days of full practice, Monday through Friday.  5 hours of training with Master Zhou.

Participant Cancellation Policy:

  • A full refund will be given to participants who cancel their event attendance up to 30 days before the event.  
  • Cancellations within 30 days of the event will only result in a credit toward a future event; no refund will be given.
