5 Animal Qigong

This is a two-day seminar on Qigong Theory and the Five Animal Sports Qigong. Our certified teacher, Josh Miller, will share this ancient art of healing with you. Starting with the principles of Qigong, meditation, and breathing exercises, and proceeding to learn the 5 Animal Sports or 5 Animal Play and how they can be utilized through the practice of Qigong.

Created over 2,000 years ago, the Five Animal Sports (Wu Qin Xi) is one of the oldest Qigong exercises and is still widely practiced. It is based on the Five Elements Theory, a foundational part of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM).

The Five Animal Sports balance the Qi in the organs, remove restrictions, and help the mind and body work harmoniously.

Whether you have experience, are just curious, or are a beginner to the practice, we invite you to come and learn these fun and energizing techniques to better your health and well-being.

What Will You Learn?

Starting with the principles of Qigong, meditation, and breathing exercises, and proceeding to learn the 5 Animal Sports. This Qigong form is a movement exercise that uses stances, postures, and the mind to enhance balance, strength, flexibility, and healing “qi” for improving health and longevity.
