What is it, and is it for me?

This workshop is organized by Daoist Gate teachers and students. This informal workshop will allow new students, and long-standing students, to refine biomechanic concepts that span Wudang System.  Manny will share a practice method that combines stance, stepping, turning, shifting into directional drills, that will provide student perspective on breaking down forms, creating their own unique combinations, and ultimately test martial applications through control partnered work.

As a community time will also be allocated for Tai Ji, Ba Gua, and Hsing I form review.

What Will You Learn?

* A standard practice method for decomposing forms into basic movements and postures.

*  A method for combining elements in forms into a free-flow practice called “Fighting Dancing,”

*  Martial intent behind some of the sets in Wudang forms.

* Sensitivity drills through controlled partner work
